How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

I’m lucky to have known Camille for most of my life. From spending time with her as an annoying child waiting for my dad to finish work so we could go home to being her media peer when I was a Senior to finally working with her as her assistant facilitating technology needs. Technology, of course, was what we had most in common. I loved our time working together, so much, because with Camille it just felt like I was partnered with a great friend and we shared so many laughs over the years. I look back on that time with such fondness. I’ll miss our lunches after I’d come visit her house to help with any technological needs, but I always knew it was just her way of getting us together. Camille was someone I looked up to for her intelligence, her kindness, and her strength. There will never be another like her and her presence was a blessing to us all.

I remember Camille & her family sitting in front of me at church in the 1960’s, she was 2 years older than I was, but I thought she was so beautiful & kind.

I was good friends with Camille through high school and had the honor of taking her to a formal dance. She was such a beautiful person, her beauty coming from her heart and then reflected in her awesome smile, attitude and eyes that always light up her face. Unfortuanately after high school so many of us went our different ways as I did with only occasional returns to see family and lost all contact with old friends, and now unfortunately so many are no longer with us leaving us with only great memories of what seems and is a life time ago. Rest in peace lovely lady, you were loved by so many.people.

Camille, may you rest in peace. Your laugh and smiling face has come to me, over and over again, through the years. Your exuberance and natural optimistic nature was so catching when around you. Sending Prayers to ease your family’s grief.

Camille and I were in Home Economics together at PHS. Not sure how that happened as I was Class of ’67. We had the best time joking and laughing. Everyone will always remember her smile and her kindness. Wish I lived closer and could attend her memorial.

Oh Camille, I was just thinking about you the other day. So many memories from the cheerleading squad and the bus rides to the football game. You were so much fun to be around and so kind. You were a giving person and will always be remembered. Thank you for being who you were, and I am blessed to have known you.
